pencil dissolving into the word poetry

This year’s Young Minds Dreaming Poetry Contest invites all SC students in grades 3rd to 12th to write a poem using the theme, “imagining what you could do.”

Students are asked to imagine their own possibilities; envisioning all the opportunities that await.  What are their hopes and dreams as they search for their place in life?  Through imagination and dreams even the most unlikely goals can come true.

Winners will get to meet former US Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera!

    The entry deadline is 6:00 p.m., March 16, 2019.
