2022 - 2023 Support Staff of the Year

Congratulations, Bridget Bailey, Special Education Paraprofessional!

Hello! 

I’m Ms. Bridget Bailey but known as Ms. B at MBMS.  I have been at MBMS since October 2018.  I am a paraprofessional in the Mod/Severe classroom.  I have dedicated my career to education since graduating from college in 1991.

I am from Poca, WV, where I lived my entire life until I turned about 50 years old. I decided at that point I wanted to finish my career enjoying a relaxing beach life.  I found a tiny house in Surfside that I share with my pets.  

My family and friends come to visit every chance they get and I get to return to WV on all the school breaks.  In WV during summer break, I hang out with all my family and friends most days by the pool.  We have big family cook-outs and pool parties.  I also like to help out at the Service Station, which is a Day Habilitation Center for Adults with disabilities founded by my step-mother.  

I enjoy a very simple life here at the beach.  In my free time you will find me either walking on the beach, visiting the state parks, riding in our golf cart around my neighborhood with my dogs, Effie and Georgie, or helping out my elderly neighbors.
