Mary Perez

Hello, My name is Mary Perez!

 I am excited to start this school year! As one of the ML teachers, I have the pleasure to work with MBP’s multilingual learners.  As a native of Myrtle Beach, I graduated from Socastee High School and then attended Coastal Carolina University. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, my Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, and my ESOL certification.

One of my favorite parts of being an ML teacher is learning about the diverse cultures of the students at MBP. Every day, I learn something new about my students’ home countries. It is also amazing to see the students begin to develop their language skills. The pride in my students’ faces when they are able to identify English vocabulary words warms my heart.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and cooking! This is going to be a great year!
