    SJHS is offering the following opportunities for students to access additional academic and social-emotional support.  

    ACADEMIC SUPPORT

    Option #1

    Classroom Teacher Support

    This option is for all SJHS students.

    We encourage you, who need support with academics, to contact and meet with your teacher.

    Please contact your teacher(s) to schedule individual or virtual meetings.

     

    Option #2:

    Content Support

    This virtual tutoring session is open to any SJHS student interested in general assistance in specific subject/content areas.

    Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays-4:00-5:00 pm (Virtual)

    ·         French Wednesday only (Google Meet link)

     

    You will only be admitted to Google Meets with a valid Horry County School email address. Once you enter the meet, you will be identified, your participation will be recorded and monitored. The system will identify you name, the subject, time your logged on and total amount of time spent working. You must have your camera on during the entire session.

    Learning Lab

    For all SJHS students. These face-to-face support sessions will be available for all students.  

    The Learning Lab is designed for students to:

    • Makeup Work and Testing
    • Attendance Makeup
    • Attend a session assigned by a teacher or SJHS administrator.

    Tuesdays and Thursdays- 3:30-5:00 Saturdays- 8:30-11:30 am

     BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS: ANY inappropriate behavior during face to face and/or virtual meetings will result in disciplinary action
