HCS announces dates for graduation ceremonies and senior celebrations for the Class Of 2020
Graduation ceremonies for Horry County Schools’ Class of 2020 are as follows:
- Aynor High School: Wednesday, June 3 at 10 a.m. on the Aynor High School Football Field
- Carolina Forest High School: Ceremonies will begin on May 26 and will continue until all are complete. Scheduled by Appointment. Carolina Forest High School Gym
- Conway High School: Tuesday, June 2 9 at a.m. on the Conway High School Football Field
- Early College High School: Wednesday, June 3 at 8 a.m. at the Carolina Forest High School Gym
- Green Sea Floyds High School: Wednesday, June 3 at 10 a.m. at the Green Sea Floyds High School Gym
- Loris High School: Tuesday, June 2 at 9 a.m. on the Loris High School Football Field
- Myrtle Beach High School: Tuesday, June 2 at 9 a.m. at Doug Shaw Stadium
- North Myrtle Beach High School: Tuesday, June 2 at 9 a.m. on the North Myrtle Beach High School Football Field
- Socastee High School: Wednesday, June 3 at 9 a.m. on the Socastee High Football Field
- St. James High School: Tuesday, June 2 at 10 a.m. on the St. James High Football Field
- An individual ceremony option will be available for students who do not wish to participate in a group ceremony. These ceremonies will be held by appointment.
- The Adult Education Center recognition ceremony will be postponed until a later date.
- Rain dates for outdoor ceremonies will be scheduled the next consecutive day weather permitting.
Senior celebrations will be held for 2020 graduates who also attend District program schools, as follows:
- Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology: Tuesday, May 26 - Thursday, May 28. By Appointment at the Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology
- Academy for Technology and Academics: Tuesday, May 26 - Thursday, May 28. By Appointment at the Academy for Technology and Academics
- Scholars Academy: Tuesday, May 27. By Appointment at the Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology
