CogAT and IOWA Test Dates

All grade 2 students will be taking the CogAT Test on October 7-9 and IOWA Test on October 10-11.The purpose of these assessments is to identify students for the Gifted and Talented programs. Student results are useful to teachers to help them identify teaching strategies for all students. The CogAT is a multiple-choice assessment that measures reasoning skills with different types of verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal questions. The IOWA test is a multiple-choice test which measures reading and math achievement.
