SPORTS

Anyone interested in Participating in Track this upcoming season is encouraged to attend an informational meeting this Thursday (December 7th) after school in the mini auditorium. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Coach Dinant or Coach Booth.

Interested in playing football here at North Myrtle Beach? Tuesday December 5th, Coach Hill and staff will be holding an informational meeting for current students. The meeting will be held in the weight room during break. All students interested in playing football are welcome to attend.

The boys lacrosse team will have an interest meeting after school Monday 12/4 in the cafeteria. Please make plans to attend and have a ride available to pick you up afterward.

MEETINGS

Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy will hold a meeting on December 5th from 7:30-8:15 in room F103.

The next HOSA meeting will be Tuesday, December 5th in C103 after school. Officer candidates should be ready to present their introductions. Voting for officers will begin on Wednesday, December 6. See Ms. Bridges or Ms. Z if you have questions.

FCA meets on Friday mornings at 7:40 in the auditorium.  

GENERAL

Dress up in your favorite Christmas gear and join the NMBHS Beta Club for our first Christmas Fun Run on December 15th from 4:00 to 5:30. There will be holiday snacks provided as well as a prize for the first three boys and girls to cross the finish line. Tickets will be $5 and are to be sold at all lunches through Thursday the 14th. Money raised will go towards the Giving Hope Gardens organization.

The deadline to sign up for the Miss NMBHS Pageant is Friday, December 15th. Our theme this year is “More Than Plastic”, and we still need more Barbies to enter! You will need your teacher recommendation, fee, and essay to qualify for a spot to represent our Chiefs. Please see Ms. Link in B101 for Band app access.

Free tutoring is available Tuesdays and Thursdays in the mini auditorium 3:30 - 4:30. You don't need to sign up, just show up.

Attendance make-up continues on Tue/Thur after school 3:30-4:30 pm. The next Saturday attendance makeup is December, 2 8am - 12 noon. Doors close at 8 am sharp.

Underclassmen make-up pictures were October 25th. Pictures taken September 5th will be available for sale online via Strawbridge.net code FM427383-1   Pictures taken in October need the code FM432449. This was the last opportunity for school pictures. 

Yearbook prices and senior ad prices increased on November 1. Order yours today at www.yearbookordercenter.com #10724. Prices increase again after December 15th!

Any student wishing to take Bible next semester with the Coastal School of Ministries, please pick up an application in the Counseling Office.

ACT study guides are available in the library for check out. Please see Mrs.O'Connell to check out a copy.

Class of 2024 your Senior Class Trip will be going to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida from April 24th to April 28th.  Please check your school email with details pertaining to the trip.  The first of four payments was due by Friday, October 13th.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Loftus or Mrs. Chestnut.

If you are interested in engineering, building, computer programming, electrical design, business, or graphic design, the robotics team is perfect for you! Join the team in their workshop to learn more about robotics and their annual competition. Contact Ms. Boggs with any questions.

Do you have library books from last year in your trunk or under your bed?  This year's English classes need them soon.  Please drop them off in the library.
