Daily Announcements

After school tutorial will be held in the Mini Auditorium from 3:30-4:30 every Tuesday and Thursday. Please take advantage of the free opportunity for assistance.

Attendance Make-Up will begin tomorrow. Tuesdays will be with Ms. Chandler in H206 and Thursdays with Mr. Mundy in I204 from 3:30-4:30. Saturday School will also be held on 12/7,12/14, and 1/11 from 8am-12pm. Students should bring a charged device and something to work on. Doors will be locked at 8:00 am Sharp.

ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS, CLASS OF 2026: You must check your school email and join the Class of 2026 Google Classroom if you have not already (code:s7ipn4m).

"Attention Juniors, CLASS OF 2026: the Junior Ring Ceremony will occur at NMBHS on Wednesday, October 30th at 6:00 p.m. in the Auditorium. All members of the Class of 2026 are invited to participate. Any ring orders placed with Jostens must be paid off before the ceremony. You should contact Jostens directly for any questions or concerns related to Jostens (ring orders, payments, balance, sizing, etc.). Please check the 11th-grade Google Classroom for additional information, including Jostens contact information."

Christmas Angels sign-ups will start next week. A video will be shown in 2nd block that will explain the program, what we do, shopping dates, etc. Please start thinking about your partners so you have all group members' names when you sign up. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Threatt in E-108.

Seniors, Jostens is returning on Oct. 9th during all lunches to hand out Senior Grad Day supplies. If you purchased one of the special packages, you will be able to pick up the free extra items like t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. Make sure to stop by and pick up your supplies.

There will be a HOSA meeting Thursday, October 10 in C 103. The morning meeting will begin at 7:30 and the afternoon meeting will begin at 3:30. We will discuss officer nominations and the election process. If you have not already joined, there is still time. Pick up your application from Ms. Bridges in C 103 and pay your $40 dues to become a part of HOSA — Future Health Professionals!

Two very important events happen in October! Yes, we know Halloween, but did you also know that October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month? The Culinary Class is featuring the Pretty, Pink, and Powerful Cookie for only the month of October. With your purchase of the Pink Gem cookie, we will donate to a national breast cancer foundation to fund research and treatment. We cannot do it without you, so help us make a difference by buying and enjoying a Pink Gem cookie this month!

Homecoming King and Queen Voting is now open. Please look for an email from Mrs. McGaha for the link.

Makeup picture day for underclassmen is October 25. If you have not had your picture taken, you will be added to the schedule. If you need to have a picture retaken, please email Mrs. Holloman.

Seniors don't forget to check your email for the senior portrait schedule for October 18 & 21.

FCA will host its annual Fields of Faith on Wednesday October 16th. The event starts at 6:30 with food and games followed by the service. The event will be held on the football field. Hope to see you there!
