CogAT Testing

Attention OBE Families:

All OBE 2nd graders will be taking the CogAT assessment October 7th through October 9th. They will also take the Iowa assessment on October 10th and 11th. These assessments are part of the criteria that the district uses to determine Gifted and Talented placements for students.

Students in grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th, MUST be referred in order to take the CogAT assessment. If you have a 3rd, 4th or 5th grade student and are interested in having them assessed for the Gifted and Talented program, please complete the referral form here. All CogAT referral forms are due to Mrs. Amber Marshall by Thursday, September 12th and will be submitted to the district office by September 16th. Any referrals received after this deadline will not be able to test this school year.
