Gayla Wisor - New RBHS Counselor

Gayla Wisor, MS, LPC is the Lead Counselor for the Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services program at Socastee High School.

Mrs. Wisor received her Master’s of Counseling from Wright State University in Dayton, OH.

Mrs. Wisor moved to Myrtle Beach in 2001 and opened a private practice in which she worked with both adults and adolescents.  The focus of her practice was treating anxiety, depression and working to address LGBTQ issues.

She began working for the SC State Agency: Waccamaw Mental Health in 2002.  During her 16 years with Waccamaw, she worked primarily as a school based counselor at Carolina Forest High School.

Mrs. Wisor is looking forward to being a part of the Braves Family!
