Congratulations Ward Wilson

Wilson to represent South Carolina in the United States Senate Youth Program

Ward Wilson is one of two South Carolina students chosen from ten semi-finalists to participate in the week long, 57th Annual United States Senate Youth Program scheduled for March 2-9, 2019 in Washington, D.C. Ward was selected as a delegate by the South Carolina Department of Education because of his outstanding academic achievements and his commitment to community service. 

Wilson will receive a $10,000 scholarship from the Hearst Foundation and will spend a week experiencing our national government in action, hearing major policy addresses by senators, cabinet members, and federal agency officials. He will participate in meetings with the President and a Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Wilson is a Socastee High School senior and is the son of Kelly and Rodney Wilson.
