Socastee Students Give Back

"Tis the Season to be Giving”

Let’s help our very own Brave family again this Holiday season!  Giving is contagious!!  Every 2nd block teacher will encourage their students to bring in money to purchase Angels for the SHS Angel tree (which will be located in the front of Guidance).  We encourage any form of money so check your piggy bank, under the sofa cushions, and that place in your car where you keep spare change. A handful of spare change goes a long way when we work as a team. Money donated will buy gifts and clothes for students of our Socastee family who may otherwise not have any gifts to open during the holidays.

From November 25th until December 9th go by guidance and see Mrs. Kirkham for an Angel. The cost of an Angel is $20.00

The Angel can then be decorated and placed on the SHS Angel Tree.

This will be a competition for our 2nd block classes!!!

The Class that purchases the MOST Angels will not receive a pizza party this year but LUNCH FROM MON CAFÉ’!!!

Let the giving begin.

The football players and girl’s basketball players are teaming up to do a community service project. We are collecting teddy bears. These stuffed animals can be new or gently used. We will be taking them to the Grand Strand Nursing Home to spread some Christmas Spirit to it’s residents. You can drop off your donation with Coach Illing, Coach Lewis, Coach Shoemaker, Coach Campbell or Coach Jacobs; anytime before December 17th. Thank you in advance for your help and support with this rewarding project.
