Carolina Forest High School's We The People team swept the state competition on Thursday, January 10, 2013, winning all six unit awards, along with the state championship. This is only the second time in the 26-year history of the We The People competition that one team has won every unit award. Last year The Scholars Academy was the first team ever to win all six unit awards.
The CFHS team is coached by JJ Iagulli and will represent South Carolina in the national competition in Washington, D.C., in April.
