Fleming and James appointed principal specialists

The Horry County Board of Education voted Monday, May 18, to appoint two Horry County Schools (HCS) principals for new leadership positions at the District Office.

Kandi Fleming, principal at the HCS Early College High School, was appointed the principal specialist for the Office of Student Support Services.

Lee James, principal of Conway High School, was appointed the principal specialist for the Office of Learning Services. 

Fleming and James will transition to the District Office on July 1. Efforts to fill the principal vacancies for the HCS Early College High School and Conway High School will begin immediately.
