Information for Seniors

Seniors,

I'm sharing information about our Senior Ceremony.  This ceremony is to recognize students that have participated in and completed a program at ATA.  This is not a graduation ceremony, but more of an attempt to recognize your work to become "Job Ready, Day One!"  I'm listing information below that will help communicate information about the ceremony.  We have chosen an individual ceremony for students to be recognized.  It will be held over the course of three days with specific majors being recognized on certain days.  The information that I'm sharing first has to do with the Health and Safety Guidelines for our ceremony.  After that is a list of what day each major will be recognized and a general time frame.  You will be contacted by your Major teacher to schedule a time within the window allotted for your major/program.  Because we are having an individual ceremony students will be allowed to bring eight (8) guests with them to participate in this event.  Also, when students arrive for their event, they will bring all school books, devices, etc. to be turned in.  There will be stations set up to collect these items.  There will be a station where students can pay any outstanding fee as well.  Any awards or recognitions earned by students will be issued at this time as well.  We were hoping to issue yearbooks at this event but we have been made aware that plants were closed for an extended period of time due to the virus.  They are now operational but the expected arrival day of the yearbook has been pushed back to June 6th or after.  We will communicate a plan to distribute the yearbooks once we know the arrival date.

I wanted to share this information today so that you and your parents will have time to process this information and come up with questions.  I will host a class meeting next week to go over the details of the ceremony.  That will be scheduled for next Tuesday, May 19th at 2:00pm.  A link will be sent to your email accounts on that day (close to the meeting time).
