CFE Homework Letter

Dear Parents/ Guardians:

Welcome to the 2018-19 school year; we know it will be a wonderful year! This letter is to explain our school-wide homework policy.

We have spent time researching and studying homework procedures and we have determined what is best for our school, our students and families.
Our homework policy is as follows.

All students are be expected to read nightly and to be prepared for all tests that are given. However, if you feel your child needs extra practice or they are struggling with a concept, you can request additional practice ideas from your child’s teacher.

What will you do with your extra time?

We have a few suggestions!

Eat dinner as a family
Play outside
Read together
Enjoy playing a team sport
Play a board or card game together
Join dance or gymnastics
Get to bed early
