This test will compare your child’s abilities to other students in the same grade throughout the United States as well as be one of several factors used for placement in the gifted and talented program. The test will take approximately sixty minutes each day and will be given between 8:00a.m. and 9:30am. We ask your cooperation in helping your child do his/her personal best on the test by doing the following:

  • Make sure your child is at school and on time. Children do better when they take a test with their regular class rather than being placed in a make-up situation. Please reschedule any appointments that might interfere with attendance on these days.
  • Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep the night before the test.
  • Make sure your child has a good breakfast either at home or at school.
  • Make sure your child has two #2 pencils. Mechanical pencils ARE NOT allowed.
  • Encourage your child to do his/her personal best, but do not create excess pressure.

Please contact JoAnn Ristau at 903-7145 with any questions you may have.  Thank you for your help with this important testing opportunity.
