Welcome to Carolina Forest Elementary School where “Every Child Counts and Every Moment Matters”. I am Cynthia Johnson and I have the pleasure of serving the students, staff, and community as Assistant Principal of CFE! I have bared witness to the level of excellence that is promoted at CFES and am excited about being a part of a school that leads with love when it comes to educating children! As a former teacher of 23 years, I am also excited about the opportunity to serve the stakeholders of CFES in a new capacity! As a school with such a diverse population of students and families, my heart is elated each time I think about being an even greater advocate for not just them, but for the teachers and staff members that I have grown to know and love over the past several years.
I possess a Master’s degree in both Early Childhood Education (2002) and Educational Leadership/Administration (2018). While I have enjoyed my 20+ years as an elementary and middle school teacher; community leader; and avid learner, I look forward to utilizing the wisdom I have gained as an efficient and effective manager, communicator, and planner in the capacity of assistant principal.
