Congratulations to Yara in Mrs. Robinette's class and Elena in Ms. Mundy's class. They were selected as the Penguin of the Month for August and September by Ripley's Aquarium for their hard work in STEM class.
Penguins, by nature, are very curious and inquisitive creatures. Curiosity leads to new opportunities which is akin to both penguins and humans. Students have been challenged in ways never imagined before over the past couple of years, and Ripley's wanted to reward them for being adaptive and remaining curious. The students selected are curious, show ingenuity, and are “leaders of their flock!”
