Fall/Winter EOC Testing Dates

Students, Parents and Guardians, End of Course exams are coming up!

All students enrolled in English 2 (CP or Honors)*, Algebra 1 (Honors only), Intermediate Algebra, Biology (CP or Honors) or US History (CP only) this fall semester, will take a state mandated end of course exam.
*Please note: English 1 students who are in their 2nd year of high school or beyond will also test this winter.

• Please re-schedule doctor/dental appointments that fall on a test day!
• Students may not bring any electronic device (phones, Apple Watch, headphones, etc.)
into the testing location! Please advise your students to leave any electronic devices at
home on testing day or they will be collected and held for the duration of the test.

It is IMPERATIVE that students enrolled in an EOC course be present on exam day, EOC scores will count for 10% of the student’s final grade in the course.
Students who do not test will receive a 0 for the EOC score!

Students enrolled in virtual courses listed above will be required to report to campus for EOC testing, SC State EOC exams CANNOT be administered remotely. Location, date and report time will be communicated to students and parents via email prior to test date.

Winter 2021 EOC Testing Dates CFHS:
English Writing: Wed 1/6 or Thurs 1/7
English Reading: Thurs 1/14 or Tues 1/19
Math: Wed 1/20
Biology: Thurs 1/21
US History: Mon 1/25

Due to the number of students this school year the English EOC students will be assigned one day for the writing exam and one day for the reading exam (students must complete the writing and reading portions of the exam to receive a score). EOC teachers will have specific information regarding the exact day, location and start time for each student's exam closer to the exam date (Hybrid scheduling may change this information, *all dates are subject to change as needed*). If you have questions about your child's EOC exam please contact your child's teacher directly.

Students scheduled to take an EOC exam must have a working, updated and charged HCS issued Dell Latitude with them on exam day. We do not have loaner devices as we have had in the past. Students who are experiencing issues with their device should see Mrs. Gollie in A-118 ASAP to have the device serviced. Virtual students may update their software by visiting the parking lot of any HCS school. Once on HCS property they will need to power down the device and restart it to initialize the software update process.
