Class of 2020 Graduation

We are happy to announce some of the program details for the commencement ceremony for the Conway High School class of 2020. Due to the unique circumstances that have impacted this school year in many ways, students will choose between three unique graduation options.

The first option will allow students to graduate with their classmates in a socially distant, whole group, face-to-face ceremony on our football field. This ceremony will begin promptly at 9:00 am on Tuesday, June 2nd. Each graduate will be allowed to invite two guests, and strict social distancing procedures will be enforced.

The second option is for students to take part in an individual graduation ceremony with up to 8 guests. Individual appointments will be scheduled after the whole group ceremony. This option is available for students who do not want to participate in a large group ceremony.

The last option is for students who choose not to walk in graduation. Students who choose this option can pick up their diplomas at a time scheduled after June 2nd.

Tomorrow, a form will be sent to each senior’s email address, so that graduates can select the ceremony option they prefer. Graduates will need to complete this form by Monday, May 18th. Graduates must choose only one of the three options, and will not be able to participate in more than one ceremony.

Over the coming days, more specific procedures and guidelines will be sent to students and parents based on the graduation option they select.
