Fifty-three business and community leaders become a Principal for a Day

Horry County Schools hosted 53 business and community leaders for its annual Principal for a Day event, giving participants a behind-the-scenes look at district schools. Principal for a Day guests spent an entire day with school principals on November 12 and then met with Dr. Rick Maxey, Superintendent of Schools, the following morning for breakfast to share their experiences in schools. This unique event helps to foster awareness and understanding about District schools and stimulates conversations that often lead to lasting engagement.
