HCS announces the top five finalists for Rookie Teacher of the Year!

Five finalists have been named in Horry County Schools’ Rookie Teacher of the Year recognition program. Through the support from the College Football Playoff Foundation in partnership with Coastal Carolina University, the Rookie Teacher of the Year program is designed to recognize and celebrate teachers within the first three years of their careers. The Rookie Teacher of the Year school honorees are nominated by their school principals for their professionalism in providing quality instruction and meeting the needs of all students. Finalists were chosen from the school-level winners.
