Congratulations to Dr. Sharon Hedrington, a special education paraprofessional at the Therapeutic Learning Center! She is South Carolina’s nominee for the National Education Association’s (NEA) Education Support Professional (ESP) of the Year Award. This award honors a member of the NEA who demonstrates outstanding accomplishments and whose achievements reflect the vital role ESPs play in public education.
We’ll be cheering for Dr. Hedrington to win when the NEA presents the 2024 ESP of the Year Award in the spring as part of the 2024 NEA ESP National Conference.
