For the seventh time in eight years, Horry County Schools has received the prestigious Best Communities for Music Education designation from the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation. The Foundation advances lifelong participation in music-making by supporting scientific research, philanthropic giving, and public service programs. HCS is one of only eight school districts in South Carolina to earn the designation this year.
