Congratulations to William Jung, the band director at Socastee High! Drum Corps International (DCI) has named him an IN STEP Fellow. The IN STEP Fellowship Initiative was established to create collaborative opportunities between DCI corps and band directors from traditionally under-represented communities.
As an IN STEP Fellow, William will spend a week with his host corps, the Blue Devils, during their 2024 summer tour. He will work alongside the corps’ professional educators, which will give him professional networking opportunities and invaluable insights into best practices in key operational, administrative, creative design, and educational areas.
