Scholars Academy High Student Places 3rd in National Trig-Star Competition
Congratulations to Andy Xu, who just graduated from Scholars Academy High, for winning third place at the annual Trig-Star Competition sponsored by the National Society of Professional Surveyors. As one of the top three national competitors, Andy and his math teacher, Jennifer Zhang, will both receive monetary awards. Andy was the president of Scholars Academy High's Mu Alpha Theta (math honor society) last year, and he will be attending MIT in the fall.
