North Myrtle Beach High’s Strawderman appointed to State Board of Education

Trevor Trevor Strawderman, the principal of North Myrtle Beach High School, has been appointed to the State Board of Education for South Carolina. Strawderman was appointed to be the 15th Judicial Circuit’s representative and fulfill the unexpired term of Renee Hembree, which ends December 31, 2019. Strawderman was appointed by the Legislative Delegation of the 15th Circuit, representing Horry and Georgetown counties.

Strawderman has 25 years of experience in education, of which 23 have been with Horry County Schools. He is in his tenth year as the principal of North Myrtle Beach High School. He earned his undergraduate degree in education at Fairmont State College in West Virginia and completed his graduate studies in educational administration at the University of South Carolina.
