Students honored for perfect attendance

Each year, the Horry County Board of Education recognizes students for cumulative perfect attendance in grades 1-5, 1-8, and 1-11. At the Board’s January 28 meeting, two students were recognized for never missing a day of school.

Catrina Mines of North Myrtle Beach Middle School was recognized for perfect attendance in grades 1-5, which is 900 days of school. Mines was presented a certificate and a medallion for her accomplishment.

Zachary Robeson Ford of Myrtle Beach High School was recognized for perfect attendance in grades 1-11, which is 1,980 days of school. He was presented a framed certificate and a monetary award.
