Myrtle Beach High School’s Navy JROTC to compete in the NJROTC Nationals

HCS JROTC For the first time in history, Myrtle Beach High School’s Navy JROTC outperformed corps in North Carolina and South Carolina to win the opportunity to be one of only 24 units to compete in the NJROTC Nationals - Academic, Athletic and Drill Championships held in Pensacola, Florida.

The Myrtle Beach High School NJROTC Unit is under the command of Naval Science Instructor Sergeant Major James Dalgarn, Jr., USMC (Ret), pictured center, along with students from left to right; Destiny Lopez, Mitzy Gonzalez, Briana Lopez, and Jayda Harris.
