Dear Parents and Guardians,,

In the preparation of students returning to school for the 2019-20 school year, we would like to inform you of Conway Library’s new procedures.  Conway Library will no longer offer an afterschool program for students. Beginning August 19th, parents will not be able to park on Laurel Street to pick students up from the Conway Public Library. Students who have been walking to the Library to be picked up in previous years, will now need to be car riders and picked up from the CMS car loop beginning at 3:33 each day.

Thank you,.

Our policies have been updated and I wanted to share the following information with you:

Children under the age of 13 years must be accompanied at all times by an individual over the age of 16. However, in order to be able to accommodate our middle school students who visit the library we have the following in place:

Exception: During times when school is in session, children between the ages of 10 through 12 may utilize the Library for appropriate purposes. Children entering under this exception must act appropriately at all times or parental supervision will be required for further entry. The library is not staffed or equipped to provide childcare services. Loitering by students in or around the Library is not allowed. Loitering is defined as lingering idly or aimlessly in any area in or around the Library without purpose, or hanging around in clusters and causing unusually loud or disturbing noises.
