Two Scholars Academy Students Named Winners in the 2020 HSRC Innovation Challenge
During the 2020 Harvard Science Research Conference (HSRC), two Scholars Academy students participated in the Harvard Science Research Project and won for their chosen category. Elena Renshaw, Myrtle Beach High, won the Ethics of Personalized Medicine and Precision Health category, and Anna Park, Carolina Forest High, won the Protection of Genetic Data category.
The Harvard Science Research Conference is a student-run conference for high school students to develop their interests in the sciences and research. HSRC is a platform for exceptional high school students from across the world to develop their interests in the sciences and research. The Harvard College Undergraduate Research Association (HCURA) strongly believes that students have the ability to make meaningful and significant contributions in all fields of study and to the greater body of world research knowledge.
